This filter transmits wavelengths corresponding to a green LED.
When a green LED light source is used to illuminate the subject, using this filter to cut off all wavelengths except the light source
improves the contrast.
In general, this filter is useful for determining the presence of potassium permanganate (used in bactericides and deodorants) because this substance primarily absorbs these wavelengths.
